Music superstar and beauty entrepreneur Rihanna is officially a billionaire, making her the richest woman in music. Forbes says the bulk of her US$1.7 billion wealth comes from her Fenty Beauty cosmetics company that’s valued at US$1.4 billion. The rest comes from lingerie company Savage x Fenty and her singing career. The artist formerly known as Robyn Fenty launched the fancy makeup/skincare business in partnership with luxury goods company LVMH in 2017, and it took off on its offering of 40 different foundation shades. One venture the singer hasn’t turned into gold is the Fenty fashion line – it shut earlier this year. The 33yo’s business success sees her in 2nd place to Oprah Winfrey as the world’s richest female entertainer.
