Kate Moss explains and complains

Supermodel Kate Moss doesn’t do interviews, so fans were buzzed yesterday – and not in an inappropriate way – when the English icon popped up on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs program. It’s a simple concept – guests are asked to nominate 8 ‘discs’ (aka tracks/albums), a book and a luxury to take with them to a mythical desert island, and during the interview, they explain their choices. Overnight, Moss has talked about feeling “vulnerable and scared” as a teenage model who was pushed to do nudity. She’s now an agent and said she always makes sure someone’s on hand to say “I don’t think that’s appropriate” if a shoot is going off script. She also said it was essential to speak in former boyfriend Johnny Depp’s defence at his defamation trial because “I believe in the truth and I believe in fairness and justice.” Sadly, the music festival queen had no tips for those slip-slidin’ through Splendour in the Grass… You can find the interview here.
