NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian yesterday confirmed colour-coded rumours that Greater Sydney and surrounds will stay in lockdown until 16 July as the state recorded 27 new local COVID cases. With the centre of the outbreak now shifting from Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs to its southwestern suburbs, Berejiklian said it was “really, really important” for residents to stay at home, or “further actions” could be taken.
