Could the worst of Omicron be behind us? The consumer regulator has warned retailers selling tests for more than $20 that they must “urgently explain” the inflated price tag as part of the ACCC’s crackdown on those seeking to take advantage of the shortage. The medicines regulator has labelled tests from “highly sensitive” (which means it’s 90% accurate, not that will take offence easily…) to “acceptable” (which is 80% accurate).
