A new neighbourhood watch app is hiring New Yorkers to live stream from crime scenes and the sites of other emergencies to provide real-time safety alerts. Sometimes it pays to be in the wrong place at the right time.
Also hitting the record button are those getting the first local sightings of western quolls in about 100 years. It was worth the wait for something so cute…
And locals in Norway were quick to film a meteor that illuminated the night sky in the country’s southeast. As for where it landed, experts are now on the hunt.
