Flood-weary communities in NSW and Queensland are experiencing more bad weather as another ‘rain bomb’ unleashes on Australia’s already sodden east coast. A man died after his car was caught in floodwaters near Toowoomba, and another man is missing after heavy rain fell on parts of southeast Queensland yesterday, including the Goldie. The low-pressure system is set to move south today, and the weather bureau has issued multiple flood warnings stretching from the Tweeds Heads to Coffs Harbour. And after a wet weekend, residents in the northern NSW town of Lismore have been evacuated with more heavy falls forecast. A silver lining to the dark clouds: the rain isn’t expected to stick around for long, with the worst of it set to ease up tomorrow. But sorry, Sydneysiders, it’s raining all week long for you…
