It’s beginning to feel like a party after a star-studded lineup for the Queen’s upcoming Platinum Jubilee celebrations was unveiled yesterday. A concert featuring Diana Ross, Duran Duran, Rod Stewart, Alicia Keys, Hans Zimmer and many more will feature in the 4-day long weekend festivities, with 22,000 loyal subjects expected to attend. British rockers Queen will open the event on 4 June, with guitarist Brian May returning 20 years after he famously performed God Save the Queen on the roof of Buckingham Palace during the Queen’s Golden Jubilee. He’s hinted that he might pop up in another unexpected spot this time around… It’s not just about the music – other stars are set to make an appearance, including Sir David Attenborough, David Beckham, Stephen Fry and Dame Julie Andrews. And there will be lots of activity on the streets of London, with Ed Sheeran among those performing. Jolly good show…
