There’s a bit more politics to get through before the federal parliament wraps up for the year, and despite senators having to come back tomorrow to vote on Labor’s amended industrial relations bill, there’s somewhat of a festive vibe in the air… That’s because the ‘Party PM’ is arriving in Canberra today to meet with PM/sometimes DJ Anthony Albanese. That’s the 37yo leader of Finland, Sanna Marin, who earned the moniker when a video of her dancing with her friends leaked back in August. After surviving a controversial press conference with Kiwi PM Jacinda Ardern on Wednesday, Marin is in town today for the first official visit by a Finnish PM to Oz. The pair is expected to chat about their shared values and interests, as well as working together to defend international rules-based order. It remains to be seen whether there’ll be enough time for a boogie with DJ Albo on the decks…
