A 4-day search for the final suspect in a stabbing attack that killed 10 people and injured 18 others in Canada’s Saskatchewan province ended yesterday. Myles Sanderson died shortly after being detained by police following a car chase around 100km southwest of where the stabbings occurred. Reports say he was taken to hospital with self-inflicted injuries, and a knife was found inside his vehicle. The 32yo and his 31yo brother Damien – who was found dead on Monday with wounds police say were not self-inflicted – had both been charged with murder. It also emerged yesterday that Myles had been released from prison in February and had 59 prior convictions and a long history of violence. Canadian authorities said there would be an investigation into why he was granted parole and released from prison.
