Tina Turner, the “Queen of Rock and Roll”, has died peacefully at her home in Switzerland, according to her publicist. Turner was 83. The tributes are flowing in thick and fast, with Turner being remembered as “a riveting live performer” with “husky, powerful vocals” who influenced musicians from Mick Jagger to Beyoncé. “With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model,” the statement from her publicist said.
