Our very own Sarah Snook – aka Shiv in Succession – is leading the Australian charge in the Critics Choice Awards with the nominations announced overnight. Also in the running is everyone’s favourite blue heeler family – yep, Bluey is in with a shot for the best animated series. Morning Wars is leading the TV nominations with 6 nods, including best drama series while Succession has scored 5 nominations. The awards are often seen as a bit of a crystal ball for the biggies like the Emmys and the Oscars – like Brendan Fraser, who started his hot run of gongs by picking up best actor for The Whale in these awards.
