And it’s now confirmed: the pair weren’t in the mood, which is a shame because they get 24-72 hours once a year to seal the deal. It’s the latest in a string of issues for the couple – they haven’t produced offspring since they arrived in 2009. Their carers say they have many breeding years ahead of them, and they remain optimistic.
