A-League fans handed assault charges

Three of the 8 Melbourne Victory fans wanted by Victoria Police over the violent pitch invasion during Saturday’s A-League Melbourne Derby match have been charged with various offences ranging from assault, ​​criminal damage and public nuisance. They handed themselves in yesterday afternoon after police released their photos.
