The Canberran made the final last year, losing out to Novak Djokovic – and it was hoped the renegade roller coaster was on the cusp of realising his immense talent. But since then, it’s been nothing but injuries and trying to recover. “I am disappointed to say that I just didn’t have enough time to manage it before Wimbledon. I’ll be back, and, as always, I appreciate the support from all my fans,” he said.
