Russian authorities have accused Ukrainian forces of a drone attack on a station linked to a major oil pipeline northwest of Moscow. Russian media says 2 drones attacked the station which supports the large Druzhba pipeline on Saturday. That pipeline has the capacity to send more than 2 million barrels of crude oil to Europe each day but has been sending far less since Russia invaded Ukraine. Ukraine has not claimed responsibility for the attack or for the increasing number of drone strikes on Russia’s side of the border. But Ukraine has condemned a “wave” of Russian drone attacks on Kyiv over the weekend. According to Ukraine’s Air Force, 54 drones attacked the city overnight, with 52 shot down, and a 41yo man killed by falling debris. It’s the largest drone attack on the capital since the start of the war.
