Suspected spies arrested in London

Police in London have busted an alleged spy ring working for Russia, with reports saying 5 people were arrested in February. Yesterday, 3 of the 5 were named – they’ve been charged with possessing IDs with “improper intention”. Bulgarian nationals Orlin Roussev and couple Bizer Dzhambazov and Katrin Ivanova are accused of having fake passports, identity cards and other documents for the UK and several European countries. If you’re wondering why this is a thing now – a trial date’s been set for the trio in January. Reports say they’ve lived at several addresses across the UK for over a decade, and their activities had caused a bit of a stir… One neighbour in west London recalled a dispute over Dzhambazov and Ivanova’s huge satellite dish that was “pointed in a different direction to all the other ones”. Talk about not blending in…
