Eurovision tattoos a winner

That was thanks to a huge performance from singer/songwriter Loreen, with her song Tattoo. It was a historic win for the 39yo who became the first woman to win the song contest twice after taking it out in 2012. Western Oz band Voyager (and lead singer Danny Estrin’s 1988 Toyota) made it to the grand final stage with their song Promise, coming in at 9th overall. Aussies who travelled to the event in Liverpool were stoked with the result – Melbourne’s Beto Popocatepetl said the crowd also got behind the Aussies. “No one was sitting down, everyone was jumping. The people here love Voyager, it was an amazing response!” Royalty also graced the stage (kind of…) when the Princess of Wales made a cameo, performing a piano piece that played on the big screen. And Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham also scored some new fans with her enthusiastic hosting/facial expressions on the night…
